- Composition: Each team must field Two (2) Primary Drivers. One (1) Reserve Driver is optional
- Stability: Team Principals cannot change during the season. Engineers must remain with a team for at least 4 races.
Spending Limit
Each team is restricted to $200M total operational spending per season.
- Counted Costs: Driver contracts, buyouts, transfer fees, fines.
- Exempt Costs: Setups, coaching, livery work.
- Breach Penalties: Overspending may result in point deductions or team removal. Note: Teams over budget by >$10M forfeit all prize money.
- Requirements: Contracts must specify duration (min. 2 races), Market Value, and Buyout clause.
- Transfers: Contracts can be negotiated anytime but only become active during Transfer Windows.
- Window 1: End of Season -> Quali of Round 2 (Next Season).
- Window 2: End of Round 8 -> Quali of Round 10.
- ]Market Value: Determined solely by League Admin based on performance and reputation.
- Buyouts: To acquire a contracted driver, a team must pay the buyout fee.
Illegal Approaches
Approaching a contracted driver without acknowledging the buyout clause is a breach of regulations.
- Voluntary Departure: If a driver leaves during a window, no fee is owed. If they leave outside a window, their contract is terminated and they cannot join a new team until the next window.
- ]Mid-Season Cuts: Teams may fire a driver mid-season without owing compensation.
- Value:
- 0 Races: Null value ($0).
- 1+ Races: Assigned a value based on performance.
- Restrictions: Unaffiliated reserves can race for a specific team maximum once. To race again for them, they must sign a contract.
Prize money is added to the next season's budget.
